I decided to watch the anime “Minami Kamakura” and here are my thoughts on it.

This show opens up with a bunch of really beautiful backdrops, a true visual feast for the eyes!

And that was honestly the only enjoyable aspect of the show that I could find. After the nice opening backdrops, you’re treated to a really generic Anime OP that has some absolutely hideous CGI shots. Oh boy, does this show love it’s hideous CGI. There is no other way to put it, it just looks bad. Maybe not Berzerk 2016 bad, but not far from it.

I disliked how the hair was colored in this anime. All of the girls have this really gross looking gradient shading in their hair. I would’ve much preferred it if the show just kept with regular two tone shading for its hair. The thing that bothers me is the fact that the rest of the characters bodies only have two tones of shading to it, but their hair doesn’t! It’s just stupid and inconsistent!

But outside of the show looking bad, it’s just a really generic cute girls doing thing show. There really isn’t anything else to say about it, if you’ve seen one of these shows you’ve seen most of them.

I dropped this show on Episode 3.
